About the Founder

Originally starting out as a contractor trading under his own name providing computer IT support to various companies, Brendan Grieve is now a director of WorldGuard Technologies Pty Ltd. He is comfortable in both a Windows and Unix environment and has been supporting both for over ten years. As a programmer he is also used to designing or customizing software to provide the best solution for his clients.

About Worldguard Technologies

Incorporated in October 2000, WorldGuard Technologies Pty Ltd has provided IT support for a range of computer software and hardware for a number of years. We are also a reseller of hardware and software, building the systems to our clients specifications.

As we started to get a larger client base it became more and more apparent that additional services beyond IT support was required by more and more of our clients. To this end we started introducing additional services including hosting services, mail services and security services.

It has been one of our primary aims to try to introduce the power and cost effectivness of Linux based servers to our clients, though not at the cost of losing the ease and power of the other systems out there. We are also in constant developement of a security system for networks that is easily maintainable and updateable.
